The Team

Lori Ousley is the Vice President of Strategic Operations at The Samaritan Inn where she brings an extensive background as an administrative professional with vast experience supporting both small businesses and Fortune 500 executives. In her current role she leverages her strong organizational skills to drive administrative efficiencies and strategic initiatives to support the organization’s mission and is the primary manager of the board of directors.

Lori earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from the University of North Texas. She joined The Samaritan Inn team as the Administrative Manager in November 2023, before stepping into her current role in October of 2024. Prior to joining the Samaritan Inn, Lori spent six years as the Business Manager and Events Director at River Road Chateau wedding venue in Anna. She also spent twenty-three years in various administrative roles at Verizon Communications.

Beyond her professional life, Lori resides in McKinney with her husband Ron and their three rescue dogs. She has an adult son, Cole, and enjoys supporting him in his role as a high school band director. In her free time, Lori is passionate about reading, health and wellness, and fostering dogs for DFW Labrador Retriever Rescue.

Growing up running the halls of a non-profit that her mother managed, Lori always felt a natural pull toward the not-for-profit world. She is thrilled be part of the team at The Samaritan Inn, where she can serve others and make a meaningful impact on her own community.
