The Team

Gina Norman
Chief Programs Officer

Gina brings more than 30 years of mission-driven leadership across California and Texas. A resolute human services professional, Gina has built her career on enhancing individual and community well-being, promoting dignity, and implementing client-centered approaches that disrupt the cycle of poverty. She is committed to advocating for vulnerable populations, fostering self-sufficiency, and strengthening systems to better serve those in need. Her work spans domestic violence prevention, maternal and child health, food security, homelessness prevention, and housing solutions.

For Gina, the fight against homelessness is deeply personal. She has led housing programs across prevention, crisis response, stabilization, and long-term housing, believing that a home is more than shelter; it is the foundation upon which people rebuild their lives, dignity, and agency. This belief drives her commitment to dismantling systemic barriers and advancing compassionate, effective solutions.

In her personal life, Gina finds joy in spending time with her family and deeply cherishes her grandchildren, who fill her days with light and laughter. Her faith is central to who she is, grounding her and shaping how she shows up for others each day. She loves traveling with her husband, exploring new cultures, and capturing the beauty of a sunset through her lens. Known for her steady dedication, she also enjoys a perfect 3 p.m. chai latte, a simple daily moment of pause. In her quieter time, she enjoys journaling, listening to string instruments, word games, puzzles, and has recently embraced the gentle rhythm and mindfulness of Tai Chi walking.

We are very excited to have her join our leadership team and look forward to the energy and expertise she brings to our mission.
