We would be thrilled to have you participate in our meal program. To sponsor a meal, please donate $500, which covers the cost of the meal. Afterward, 2-8 volunteers are welcome to serve the meal and assist with the dishes. Volunteers must be at least 6 years old. Our meal times are 11:15 AM and 5:30 PM.
  • Thrift Store Workday
Organize a service day at our Thrift Store, where tasks include sorting, organizing, and receiving donations. We recommend limiting the group to 5-8 volunteers, but you can arrange multiple days or shifts for larger groups. The store operates Tuesday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Participants should be 14 years or older and must work alongside an adult.
  • Resident Activities
Plan an engaging event for our adult, family, or child residents. Possible activities include bingo, a fall festival, or an Easter egg hunt. Collaborate with our Resident Activity Coordinator to organize the event. Volunteers typically provide all necessary items. This opportunity suits groups of 2-15 volunteers, with a minimum age of 14 for most events.
  • Gift Card Collection
Help us collect $20-$25 gift cards to Walmart or Target for our residents to buy gifts for their families during Christmas. Any unused cards will be distributed to residents as needed throughout the year.
  • Donation Drive
Organize a drive for specific items by contacting us to learn about our current needs.
  • Amazon Wishlist*
Check our regularly updated Amazon Wishlist for items we need. Items purchased through the list will be shipped directly to us.
Learn and Serve

Join us for a tour of our facility, followed by a hands-on volunteer experience. After the tour, you’ll assist with a service project, helping with tasks that are most needed that day—which can include, cleaning, organizing, sorting, or moving items. To ensure a meaningful experience, we limit each volunteer group to a maximum of 20 participants per three-hour shift. Please note that teenagers must be accompanied by an adult volunteer.

Meal Sponsorship

The Samaritan Inn offers Meal Sponsorship opportunities for groups of up to 8 volunteers per meal. With a minimum donation of $500, your group can sponsor and serve breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While our chefs prepare the meals, your team will have the rewarding experience of serving the food to our residents, making a direct and meaningful impact on their well-being and supporting our mission.
