Housing provided for more than 30 veterans annually through CityWalk@Akard, ESG-Rapid Rehousing, and Destination Home programs. Veterans qualify through the Dallas Housing Authority for VASH vouchers and are placed in the housing programs. Services: furniture, household goods, transportation, case management.
Must be referred by the VA. Housing with intensive case mangement for homeless, disabled veterans and their families. Veterans receive support services at the VA Medical Center, on-site at their apartment complex, and various locations in the community. Provide permanent housing with case management for homeless, disabled veterans and in another program, for their families. Veterans must have a relationship with the VA and must be chronically homeless and disabled.
